Privacy policy

What we collect

• Account: your name, email and password (stored hashed), or your Google sign-in.
• What you make: topics, scripts, voice choices, pictures, uploads, videos and their settings.
• Connected accounts: access tokens for YouTube, Instagram or Facebook (stored encrypted), and the channel, page and video details needed to publish and show stats.
• Billing: your plan, credits and payment status. Creem handles your card details. We never see or store them.
• Usage: basic logs (time, page, errors) to keep the service working and secure, and a few cookies to keep you signed in and remember choices like list or grid view.

How we use it

• To make, render and publish your videos when you ask.
• To show your channel stats in Growth and suggest what to make next.
• To run billing, prevent abuse (including the automatic content safety check) and answer support emails.

We don't use your content or connected-account data for advertising, and we don't sell it.

YouTube and Google data

When you connect YouTube, Vidsuite asks Google for permission to:

• upload videos, set thumbnails and add videos to playlists on your channel;
• read your channel's videos, comments and analytics (views, watch time, click rate) to show them in Vidsuite;
• reply to comments when you ask it to.

Vidsuite uses YouTube API Services. By connecting YouTube you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's use of data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.

Vidsuite's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. YouTube data is used only to provide the features above, refreshed regularly, and not shared with anyone except the services listed below that run those features.

You can disconnect YouTube in Vidsuite's Settings, or remove Vidsuite's access anytime at Google security settings. Disconnecting in Vidsuite deletes the stored tokens and the channel stats we stored. If you only remove access at Google, email us and we delete the rest within 30 days.

Instagram and Facebook data

If you connect Meta, Vidsuite reads the list of your Facebook Pages and linked Instagram accounts and publishes Reels to the ones you choose. You can remove any of them in Settings, or remove Vidsuite in your Facebook settings under Business integrations.

The Vidsuite Chrome extension

The extension sends pictures you choose into your Vidsuite videos. It:

• works on Google Flow and Gemini pages, where it types the next beat's prompt for you and sends the picture you generate to that beat; you press Generate yourself;
• copies a picture you right-click and send, from that one website (other websites only after you allow it);
• stores only your connection key, the video and beat you picked, and your last few sends, in Chrome on your computer;
• sends pictures and prompts only to Vidsuite, over HTTPS.

It doesn't read your browsing history, other tabs, passwords or form data, and it doesn't track you. Disconnect it in its menu, or remove it from Chrome, and the key is deleted. Its use of data follows the Chrome Web Store Limited Use policy.

Who we share it with

Only with services that run Vidsuite for you, and only what each one needs:

• Supabase: database, sign-in and file storage
• Cloudflare Turnstile: the bot check on sign-up and log-in
• Our hosting and AWS: running the app and rendering videos
• Anthropic (Claude): writing and checking scripts, titles and descriptions
• ElevenLabs: recording the narration
• Google Gemini and Higgsfield: making AI pictures and clips
• HeyGen: talking avatars, if you use them
• Creem: payments (merchant of record) and the content safety check
• Google (YouTube) and Meta (Instagram, Facebook): publishing and stats, only for accounts you connect

We may also share data if the law requires it, or to protect people from harm or fraud.

How long we keep it

• Video files: removed 3 days after a video is published, unless you turn on "Keep".
• Your account, scripts and video details: while your account is open.
• Billing records: as long as tax and accounting law requires.
• After you delete your account: everything else is deleted within 30 days.

Your choices and rights

You can see and edit most of your data in the app. To delete your account and everything in it, go to Settings → Delete my account: it cancels your plan, removes our access to YouTube, Instagram and Facebook, and deletes your videos, files and data straight away. You can also email support@vidsuite.app from your account's email address to get a copy of your data, correct it, or have us delete it. We reply within one business day and finish deletion within 30 days. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK, Nigeria or California), you may have further rights, and you can complain to your data protection authority.

Security

Data travels encrypted (HTTPS). Connected-account tokens are encrypted in our database, and each user can only read their own data. No system is perfect: if a breach affects you, we'll tell you.

Children

Vidsuite is for adults (18+). We don't knowingly collect data from children.
